Rae Bareli offers Ph.D. programmes in a wide range of areas in Engineering, Science & Social Sciences. The broad objective of the Ph.D. programmes is to contribute to the development of the respective fields by conducting front-end research and to train students to be lifelong learners. The Institute invites applications for admission to Ph.D. programmes for the session commencing from July-2016 as per the following details:
A1. DISCIPLINES FOR Ph.D. PROGRAMME: Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering**, Mathematics, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Renewable Energy# , Electrical Engineering, Geophysics, Geoinformatics*, Geology and English. **Candidates having Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Master degree in Chemical Engineering or allied Chemical Branches are eligible to apply. #Candidates having Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical engineering and Master degree in Physics are eligible to apply. *Candidates having Master degree in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or related fields and Master degree in Geoinformatics are eligible to apply

Last date for submission of application: June 30, 2016 (Thursday) Declaration of a list of candidates called for test/ interview: July 8, 2016 (Friday)
Date of written test and/ or interview: July 15, 2016 (Friday) Declaration of result: July 20, 2016 (Wednesday)
Acceptance of admission: July 27, 2016 (Wednesday) Date of registration: July 30, 2016 (Saturday) Classes commence: August 01 (Monday) APPLICATION FEE: There is no application fee for the PhD program at RGIPT
